Positives:

- Won a must-win game
- The defense flat out balled limiting the Titans to just 188 yards of offense
- He's baaaaaaccckkk. Reshad Jones was a beast w 2 fumble recoveries, a score, a TGL and a half sack. The defense sorely needs his playmaking to continue.
- Kiko Alonso - was a heat seeking misile today, forcing the Cassel fumble that led to the TD, cutting pass catchers down shy of the sticks on 3rd downs and laying some good wood on folks.
- Rookies step up - Charles Harris's first career sack was huge on 3rd down and helped close out the game. Godchaux forced the first fumble that led to 3 points.
- Matt Haack literally kicked the **** out of the ball today.
- Ajai ran hard and was effective against a good Tenn front. A lot of 2nd effort to eek out extra inches that moved the chains
- pass rush dropped cassel 6 times

Negatives:

- Jay Ajai's fumble
- Parkey missing an XP
- Drops by Landry, Thomas, Gray and Stills - seriously WTF?
- Calling that idiotic bubble screen again
- Calling an idiotic gadget play after a 1st down
- Speaking of 1st downs we had 12. Ouch.
- Only 1 offensive TD making that just 3 on the season in 4 games. Miracle we are 2-2.
- Jay Cutler throwing off his back foot
- Jay Cutler throwing late at times
- Jay Cutler's INT. Thrown late and terribly off target. Bad decision.
- Jay Cutler's weird scramble and then having to take a TO after to avoid a delay of game.
- Jay Cutler being so bad the crowd actually chanted for Matt Moore
- Jay Cutler just being Jay Cutler
- Parker not understanding down and distance and taking the scenic route to the line to gain - and possibly hurting his ankle in the process.

Overall:

A win is a win and it was a conference game so there's that. The D played lights out however, any enthusiasm must be tempered by the fact we went against Matt Cassel. It was encouraging to see our rookies contributing - we need plays like those made by Harris and Godchaux if we are going to make a run. I am pleased w the play of the LBs the past 2 games w Timmons in the lineup. Coincidence? However, for the love of everything that is good in this world can someone please explain to me how long this Jay Cutler train wreck will be allowed to continue? I don't care if your backup is Ronald McDonald - at some point you have to hand the keys to someone else. 3 offensive TDs in 4 games? Really? Our offense needs to find a rhythm and an identity. I do believe this is fixable just not sold that Cutler gives us the best chance right now.

Enjoy the W and get ready for Atlanta. A lot to talk about this week for sure.

Thumbs up from me for the effort.

But all that Cutler blame and no mention of the offensive line in the negatives is no bueno.
The o-line was a miss - I thought they were "ok" today against a good Tenn front.

I was so encouraged after the Chargers game but major regression all over since then. Tunsil had a bad first game...doesn't seem to be improving either. Bushrod had a decent first game and has been awful since. Pouncey has been manhandled at times and the LG is a mess.

Some of you guys are much better students of O-line play than I am. Curious about Tunsil - what is he doing / not doing that is bringing the criticism?

Our run game is only limited by a weak OL that cannot consistently open running lanes. With run lanes we actually have a dominant runner who can open up the passing lanes. We just need to get over the hump with our run blocking and our offense can make a significant jump forward.

This was a much needed defensive showing. One thing we were fortunate enough to have last year is that some unit stepped up each game. Sometimes it was the defense, sometimes the offense, sometimes the special teams, but we managed to win a lot of close games last year. It looks like we're doing the same thing this year.

Today, it was the defense and punter who showed up.

I thought I was rewatching the Cincy game from 2016, except with a worse LT.

Agree that the D needed this type of game. Need to get a swagger going.

I think Cutler made them look better than they actually performed and in the process his play of course suffered. To only give up one sack today is nothing short of a miracle. Cutler was turning water into wine with some of the escapes and throw aways.

Tunsil just seems like a lost cause. His hands, his movements, he does not look interested and his quote about them practicing poor before the Jets game stuck with me but I think it may be more of a "him" issue.

He was beat like a drum all game and on several occassions he never even got hands on the rusher. 3 man rush and he gets beat. Jay Cutler has saved him from at least 5 additional sacks given up this year.

I am not giving up on the kid, but he has been easily the most disappointing player on the field for Miami and as scary as it sounds, its not close. High expectations and low performance thus far.

Many people don't see this. Between **** oline and 7 ridiculous drops.
