Was listening to Pat Kirwin on Sirius NFL today. He said this connection was starting to become a real threat. 6 TD's in the last 8 games and increased production compared to the 1st 10 games when Wallace arrived.

I haven't gone back to look at the stats yet but that is pretty impressive. While we are not hitting the long pass Wallace has become a red zone threat for us. They are starting to build something hopefully.

No sorry...we suck, tannehill sucks, Wallace sucks...might as well be a bucs fan

Bucs loss tonight make me feel better about the loss in Buffalo. Now this is a whipping. Sundays loss was a few plays that all went the Bills way.

If Tanny hits one deep ball to Wallace, people will have some concerns (momentarily) alleviated. So far, we've gone to Wallace (where he's beaten his man) 3 times.

1.INT after Charles Clay was the designed play.
2.One could argue Wallace should have gotten his 2nd foot down.
3.Bad Thow.

Now you can't deny that the chemistry is a little better this year, maybe it's because we're using him as more than just a decoy with the occasional deep ball thrown to him, but either way Mike Wallace is much more involved in the offense this year than he was last... and he's fighting more as well.

Now before anybody jumps on Tannehill, YES he HAS to improve the accuracy. Though the deep ball to Wallace is not the most concerning thing right now. Especially against Buffalo, he was missing a lot of easy swing passes. Now how much of that was on Miller is a valid point, but on a throwback TE screen, he overthrew Sims who may have been able to go for a TD (or atleast a LONG gain)

On the swing pass to Sims I honestly thought it was just a good play by the defender. If Tannehill doesn't put that one up high that's a pick six. The missed throw to Gibson... that was inexcusable.

Is that the one he threw high before we kicked our first FG? The bigger issue there was Clay was open in the end zone.

Again, I'm not trying to make excuses for Ryan Tannehill. That may have been his worst game as a Fin (even if others were uglier statistically) I just feel that there is a bit too much overreaction. Cause even in this bad game, there were some encouraging signs. Some negatives, too for sure. I don't know if some just can't accept that he's not Andrew Luck or Russell Wilson, or people just had HUGE expectations but I think some things are just dumb.

I have huge expectations this year from him, and while he's left points on the board, it's still 2 games... plus as I said many times last week (and since), we either blow Buffalo out, or we look like morons against them. That goes all the way back to Wanny.

get that positive press out of here I'd much rather fill the forum with threads bashing our qb, coach, scheme, and did I mention our qb?

Not to be overly dramatic but how Tannehill plays this Sunday will tell us an awful lot about his ability to truly play at an NFL level. Big bounce-back and great. Another suck-fest and I think we need to move on. Hate to hang it on one game but he's flat out sucked balls so far this year - picking up right where he left off the last two games of last year. Step up or step aside.

This is total bull****.

How so? He's played awful in his last four real games.

76.1 QBR ranks him 29th of 35. That sucks. I don't care how many dropped passes, blown O-line assignments, etc. Every QB deals w these things. A 76 QBR in today's pass-happy NFL isn't going to get you to the playoffs.

Thumbs down for those trying to derail the thread...

But royal these last two games havent been the best but if you look at the film, RT didnt have THAT bad of a game last week. There were many factors. He missed some throws, but there were a lot of dropped balls, bad OL play etc etc

I just haven't seen it. He needs to get that QBR way up for us to have a playoff chance IMO.

We won't make the playoffs with him because he can't win us games.

The best thing he manages to do is not lose us games, and that's on a good day.
