Top flight QBs had a poorer than average first weekend

Still not where he should be....in this offense. I expect it to average out over 90 as the season goes on and he gets more comfortable in the offense.

With that said...PPF thought he played well and gave him a positive grade...not sure of their criteria for that though.

Agreed he struggled but how often do we win a game where we are behind by ten and have spotted the other team 3 TOs - but I expect better too

His QBR is most effected by the INT, if it were not for the INT, he would have had a 102 QBR (Or around that)...just for the record.

Tannehill needs to play smart, and everything else will take care of itself.

and if Wallace doesn't make an incredible catch fighting for that ball on the TD it would have been worse. Not saying he played poorly but you act as if the INT was just bad luck.

Also dropped from the 3 or 4 passes he threw away to avoid the sack.

And if Sims actually holds on to the deep pass it's actually better.

And don't forget Wallace coming down out of bounds on that other potential TD catch. Nobody is to blame but just saying.

Look who stopped by to stir the pot...

And if Sims AND Wallace both catch their TD's than Tannehill has 3 td's.... stats are sometimes misleading.. Tannehill i thought had a few bad throws but seems to have made all the right reads.

obviously the interception was his worst play and 2 of his throws were behind his receivers but were caught... This team is young and talented and should only get better.

btw... junc, what did you think of Geno????

Geno looked great starting the game then a few penalties hurt us and he threw the one pick but I can live w/ that. it was a great play by Woodson. The only big problem I had was up 6 w/ a chance to extend the lead to double digits and essentially end it he took a 19 yd sack and knocked us out of FG ranger. Other than that he looked good and I was happy with him. It's nice to see the good play from preseason carry over into the reg season.

w/ all that said we should have won this game 35-3 or something like that. we wasted too many opportunities, as on offense we have to cut the penalties down but we have a really good run game and Geno has weapons to throw it you. I was happy but annoyed w/ the way they won. Looking forward to the first road test this weekend.

I thought he had a C+ game. B- at best. Still not where he should be with his accuracy.

if it was B-/C+ and you won by double digits that's a pretty good sign for your team b/c I would expect Ryan to improve the more comfortable he gets in the offense.
