Good Afternoon all!
In April 2007 Rugby League will dawn on Miami in the shape of the 'Sea Eagles'.
Five months of hard-hitting, bone-crunching tackles will shake the State of Florida when the sport comes to town.
Rugby League can be seen on www.superleague.co.uk and will be the first of it's kind in the US.
No other state can boast it's own league!
Six teams will do battle between April and August in the US Football off-season:-
Sarasota Storm, Tampa Bay Broncos, Fort Lauderdale Reds, Lakeland Rhinos, Orlando Warriors & Miami Sea Eagles.
Tickets will be $15 per adult and $5 for children.
Games are likely to be held at a local high school stadium.
Miami Sea Eagles will also field an Under-21 team that will mirror the first grade season.
In addition to this an 'Academy of Excellence' will develop the 12-18 year olds through World Class Coaching.
Rugby League is often associated as being a 'family game' and is very Community based.
We will adhere to this trend and do our best to meet the community needs within Miami.
The Ultimate aim would be for Miami to create several USA Tomahawk players and compete in the World Cup in 2008.

All the best for season 2006!
