RUMOR: Brandon Marshall Trade?

I'd be happy with a third and a fifth. I just want him off the team. Then next year, we can sign a guy to be a big possession receiver, since that's all Marshall has been here anyhow.

When Marshall was in Denver, dudes were saying there's no way they'd give a first rounder for him. Now that there's rumors that we might deal him, dudes are saying we can get a first round pick for a scrub.

:idk:

Miami should look at how NE does trades. NE doesn't hesitate to trade people, and gets good value. Miami diddles around and receives less value. In my opinion, Brandon Marshall has not lived up to his billing nor has Reggie Bush. I don't think BM would help a young rookie QB (Luck, Jones, etc...), so if Miami could get a 2nd for BM, I would be okay with that. There are people here who think that BM and Luck would be the same as Calvin Johnson and Matt Stafford. That is not a very good comparison because Calvin Johnson is not the head case that BM is, and Calvin Johnson is actually a # 1.

I'd be happy if they could recoup the 2; 2nd round picks they gave up!!! not sure they could get a 1st for him with all his baggage!!!

With this regime and owner, if you suck, you just may get an extention.

I keep seeing people mention Dez Bryant. Dude is nowhere close to putting up Marshall numbers.

What numbers?

Bryant has 3 tds, averaging one for every game he has played. Marshall has 1td in 4 games. Marshall has 5 drops, 3 potential TDs. Yeah Bryant is nowhere close to Marshall's numbers....outproduced Marshall in 1 less game played.

I don't think 17.5 half games is enough to say he has been worth two picks or not. His personal bad numbers are still some of the best in franchise history.

That still doesn't justify giving up two 2nd rounders just because he's put up better numbers than some of the nobodies this franchise has lined up as #1 WR's this past decade. Where is the guy that put up elite numbers in Denver? I thought that's WR we were getting?

I would say he's performed well below expectations. Not only that, he still has the same immaturity issues that followed him from Denver. Borderline personality disorder my @ss. He needs to grow the f*ck up.

Obviously he hasn't been put into a situation to succeed. He's the only threat on offense, he doubled-up more times than not, Chad Henne is not accurate enough (especially without an offensive line) and there are not enough plays being drawn up for the guy. Passing to Marshall once in a half is unacceptable.
