Rumor-Dolphins want to trade for Orton-NFL.Com

Orton = smokescreen (I hope)... Dolphins would be more likely trying to trade for Palmer on the QT
 
funny how quickly things change around here...i had to beat people off with a stick before the season started yapping about how if we get kyle orton this teams a 10 win lock playoff contender yada yada yada...had one particular admin here tell me i was the fool if i couldn't see it even...

8 or so weeks later who's the damn fool...not this guy
 
I'd look into it because:
Denver would probably give us picks to take him at this point.
Bet he just wants to get out of town and would except a low ball contract.
He's better than Sage and Devlin and equal to Moore.
None of these guys will be the starter new year so we're just looking for a back up anyways.
 
Hoops I had that same admin giving me the same treatment and I live in Denver. Acting like he knew more about Orton than did. Child please.
 
Just say no to "choke-ability" No more sloppy seconds please. Hell I wouldn't sign him as a FA for the going rate let alone squander a 4th or 5th on him at this point. And this is coming from a "Play2Win'er" !
 
Unless price went way down I don't know why they would make the trade now and not before the season. I think the only way this happens is if Orton drastically reduces his asking price. Denver is in a bind and has to deal Orton if they want any compensation. I can't imagine us giving more than a 5th at this point, but who knows.
 
Good God, No!

As of right now, we have all our draft picks in 2012..which would be a nice draw for a new coach.

I pray this doesn't happen.

imo it might have been ok bk before the season started but not after we are 0-4 ? hell nooo we have a QB right now thats been learning they play calling since the season started and we now have sage as the bk up and hopefully he learns the play book in case something was to happen to moore but as they say ..... your a day late and a dollar short!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Those "whispers" don't exist in my opinion. Just someone speculating after Henne went down and Orton got benched. The problem with that trade was based on a new contract with Orton(which won't change), not compensation with the Broncos.
 
What if the Broncos were asking for a 7th round pick, would you guys consider trading for Orton then???

No need to single out specific admins. There were plenty of people on here suggesting the same damn thing.
