[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Rumors are circulating that the reason Glenn Dorsey skipped the Combine altogether is he may have re-injured his knee or suffered some other type of injury during his training preparation for the Combine. His grandmother passed away recently and Dorsey did state that it set him back in his preparation for the big show, but Dorsey could have attended the Combine just for the medical portion and team interviews and passed up the workouts altogether. Since Dorsey skipped the Combine altogether including the medical evaluations, the speculation has begun that he may be hiding some sort of injury.[/FONT]​

DT Glenn Dorsey, who was rumored on Friday to not be in Indianapolis because of a death in the family, is in Indianapolis. He was weighed Saturday morning and was expected to go through the medical examination all players at the Combine undergo.

Seems he was feeling the heat.

that was my first impression when i heard he was missing the combine..not neccisarily re-injured as much as aggrivated/still injured but then i heard about the death in the family as the reason he missed. but nothing else was said about who in his family or anything about what had happened yet so who knows.

Missing the Combine is not a huge issue, unless he blows at the ProDay. You need to nail one, combine seems to be preferable usually, but not a death knell. If he goes into LSU proday and puts on a show he wont lose out.

The medical battery he will undergo at the combine though was a good move.
