Nothing official.

Ellerbe is coming off an injury and he may still not be ready. Miami can cut him, but they have to reach an injury settlement with the player first if he isn't healthy.

That will be the hold up in releasing him. He makes a lot of sense as a cut . . . hell much more so than Wheeler even as he gives us 5.65 million to use today. Miami is gonna have to propose a pretty sweet package for him.
