I got this from a Falcon fan website:

http://mbd.scout.com/mb.aspx?s=122&f=1699&t=2078876#s=122&f=1699&t=2078876

"Adam Shefter was reporting on the NFL network that the Cowboys were in serious discussion with Atlanta falcons in a trade that would involve 2 first round pick's and MBIII and a second day draft pick and Deangelo Hall was some how thrown into the mix."

Proprosed trade: Falcons get:

Both Cowboys 1st round picks
2rd round pick
Marion Barber

Cowboys Get:
Falcons #3 pick
Deangelo Hall

We don't want this to happen!

They are so financially tied up in 2 CB's...(Newman,Henry) that I dont anticipate that happening but ya never know.

well according to draftdaddy.com hall is supposedly going to be heading to the giants since they have the best offer on the table for him. plus why would dallas trade this early to get up to 3?

n what happened to them wanting RYan? and theres no way that value is even. 22, 28, MB, and 2nd day pick for number 3 AND hall?

Atlanta has to get a franchise QB and I think they reallllly want Ryan. If they do trade with Dallas, Ryan and possibly Brohm will be off the board. I do not think Atlanta can afford to have a top 5 pick and not take a QB. That is just my thoughts.

The rumor is correct Atlanta is banking on Miami passing on Ryan. Of course this is where Ireland should draft Ryan and hold him hostage.

maybe tehy are talking wiht Dal so tgehy can low ball us and miami takes that crappy offer out of fear of staying at 1.

The only reason why the Cowboys would do that trade is to keep the Giants from getting Hall...Hall wouldn't fit in their secondary...and it wouldn't keep a team from trading with the Dolphins for McFadden...so it's a stupid move thats going nowhere. Lets also state it would keep Atlanta from acquiring Ryan...that alone doesn't make sense for them..unless they feel they can get a deal with another QB later in the draft...how would that sit with the Atlanta fans? There's at least 3-4 teams other than the Falcons that want Ryan...or at least we believe they do...would Jones be that stupid to risk everything that Parcells doesn't make a deal with one of them...I don't think so. The only way that will work is if Jones bluff's Parcells...and makes him blink...and I don't see that happening either.

I dont think the Cowboys would give up Marion Barber for McFadden JMO

They were talking to a guy on the NFL Network, I think it may have been Todd McShay?, and he said McFadden could drop down to around the 20th overall pick....he said many people are concerned about how many times he fumbled at Arkansas, he also has spindly legs, and some off the field issues.

Sounds like that guy was Jerry Jones with a mask on...if McFadden runs and runs a great time...he won't drop that far if he drops at all...sadly...runningbacks are so over-hyped and over sold.

Well based on this I'd say whoever said it was talking out their arse! Kid averaged 6 yds a carry, can break the long one on any play like Peterson and at 6'2 probably 210 as a junior that will only get stronger I'd say spindly wouldn't be quite how he would be described. People can say what they want but this kid will be the best football talent coming out. The prob is that there is a big risk with RB's getting hurt and not lasting 10+ years.

sounds as if ATL must have gotten an indication from MIA during the Combines that MIA is indeed intent on drafting Matt Ryan and have no chance at him so are now looking to trade out of the #3 and pick up the 2 #1's from DAL and grab Brohm, Henne, or Flacco at #22 or #28? Hmm?

I don't believe the rumor truthfully. Why would DAL bring D Hall to the same lockerroom after T Owens spit in his face a year ago and were ready to tear each other apart?

The rumor is unfounded. No one has provided a link to any of this. Supposedly, Schefter has said this, but he hasn;t.
