I'm hearing rumors that L. Diamond might get cut today as a results of poor blocking skills.

I don't believe this crap but after the Ed Perry cut, anything is possible...

I thought he was one of the posititives over this preseason, then again I didn't know his blocking was so poor.

I'm thinking we need to sign this guy to the practice squad at least, probably along with Brock Berlin.

Diamond isn't eligible for the PS. He's spent 2 years on an active nfl roster already
 
Diamond must stick around, he actually did something this preseason, which I can't say for many other guys... even the ones with big contracts.
 
If we try to draw some similarities between what Linehan did in MIN and what he will try to do here, I believe that Diamond will be our version of Wiggins or Kleinsasser. He doesn't get cut if I had to bet.
 
Hey Rafiki, do/did you go to Boise State, those guys have to be the most exciting team in college football right now.

Diamond MIGHT get cut?? Cmon. :lol:

BTW - you need to be more careful with your thread titles. This is a rumor, but your thread title states it as fact.
 
Wasn't it Diamond who made a very nice pulling block on Ricky's TD run against TB?? He completely sealed off the inside while McMike cleared they guy outside.

I totally agree with this statement. Lee is nothing but one penalty after another. He makes one big catch in preseason and on the VERY NEXT PLAY, he commits a foul to whipe out what he accomplished. He is simply worthless.
 
It's possible though I think it is noteworthy that Diamond started the game with the 1st team. Seems unlikely that he will be cut.
