Rumor: Miami Picked Up Charles Fredricks!!!

Ok now im SORRY if the title was missleading but I got something really interesting to share with you all...Well I live in Spokane, WA and we have an AFL2 team here the Spokane Shock and they happen to have former Washington WR Charles Fredricks which I couldnt understand why he never went in the draft. Anywayz I'll get to the point I have'nt been seeing him playen lately so I wonderd what was up and I talked to my cousin who keeps up on the Spokane Shock and he told me that the Miami Dolphins had picked up Charles Fredricks and are wanting to sign him. Now I could'nt find anywere about Miami picking him up but I was hoping someone else new a little bit more about this. IMO Charles Fredricks is one hell of a WR and would be really sweet if miami did pick him up!! I hope we hear something on this in the next few days and I hope my cousin was right!!
 
We have a log jam at the WR spot right now...I am not sure if Fredricks would have a shot if we signed him but hopefully we will hear some news on him. We already have CC, Booker, Welker, Hagan, Campbell, Russell, Gibson, Aromashadu, maybe Vick?
 
I would agree with you that I would be surprised to see more WR signings but then again Saban maybe looking for something in particular that he does not see in what we have.

Charles Fredrick 5'10'' 195 lbs. he played at the University of Washington as a WR set some records for the school...When he was picked up by the shock he played WR as well as DB now im not sure or anything but maybe Miami picked him up to play DB or add depth at the position cause hes not bad at all...

And Frank Murphy. Who has been impressive from what I've read
 
Presently at Wr we have in my order, Chambers, Booker, Hagan, Campbell, Welker, Aromashadu, Murphy, Vick, Kimble (though he is injured perhaps going to PUP or IR), Gibson, Davis, Russell, Willis, and Broussard. That's 14 and I have trouble believing they will all make it even into camp let alone picking up another guy who is a long shot.

Keep in mind Hagan and Aromashadu don't yet count on the 80 man roster because they have yet to sign and Broussard has an NFLE exemption. I expect that once the two draft picks sign two of the lesser lights will be cut before camp even starts unless one of them is Kimble and he is put on a reserve list.
 
The title is very misleading.

where'd you hear that? Saban said he was a natural at WR and he seemed to be maken over the shoulder/diving catches in traffic.
 
Don't forget that Frank Murphy does this every year, and never produces come gametime. Camp is the time when we freak out over individual producers but rarely, if ever do they come through. I think Campbell, Hagan, Welker and Vick round things out for the reciever corps, and Ash makes the practice squad.
 
The Dolphins can't "pick him up" without signing him (unless they drafted him). The reason you hadn't seen him was due to a family emergency. His brother got shot and his uncle had heart surgery. He and his family are from South Florida.
