NFL schedule to be released April 16th

PFT confirming the date:

ProFootballTalk ‏@ProFootballTalk NFLN listings indicate schedule is coming April 16 http://wp.me/p14QSB-7Vn2

Jesse Agler ‏@finsjesse

First time I've seen a specific date. Mark it down! MT @Ourand_SBJ Source: NFL releases its schedule April 16.

Teams Miami will play in 2013:

HOME: Buffalo Bills, New England Patriots, New York Jets, Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, San Diego Chargers

AWAY: Buffalo Bills, New England Patriots, New York Jets, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Indianapolis Colts

I agree with Jesse, never saw them set a date so far in advance. Usually they just seem to wing the date late in April.

So the schedule on April 16th and the logo on April 18th. Should be a fun week.

Can't wait.....looks like we have about five potential cold weather games......
AWAY: Buffalo Bills, New England Patriots, New York Jets, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers

Hopefully most of those will be early in the season.....I also get tired of us always playing at the end of the year at Gillette Stadium...make the Pats come to Miami late in the year for once.

That's true Nubs. Then the draft the next week! April will be fun for NFL fans!

I can't wait to see all these "schedule leaks" threads on the 16th in the morning...

I guess Pitt vs Mia will be the 1 of the first 4 thurs nite games!

Prediction:

Week 1: Home for Buffalo
3 "scheduled" primetime games. @New Orleans MNF, Home for New England on a Thurs night, and @Pittsburgh on a Sunday night
Bye week: Week 6 (we usuallt get screwed with an early bye week)
Week 17 (divisional week): @Buffalo

Good luck with that.

Looking back the last few years and the Patriots always get to finish up at home in the last quarter. What a bunch of rigged BS

2012 3 of last 4 at home
2011 2 home, 2 away
2010 3 of last 4 at home
2009 2 home, 2 away

They almost never have to travel in December, 6 games in the last 4 years.

That may be why their December record is so good.

Also in the last 10 years the Dolphins have never hosted the Patriots in week 16 or 17

On the other hand the Patriots have hosted the Dolphins in Week 17 (3) times and in week 16 (2) more times over that same period.

Cheaters!

Ouch! Those are some tough tough games on paper for now!

With the big FA moves we've made my guess is they won't give us a cream puff week 1 - maybe ATL, NE or someone else so everyone can see where we stand after a fla$hy offseason.

I hope we get the jets or pats at home the 1st game. Set the tone in the afc east early. I predict our thursday game will be vs. the bucs.
