Rumor: NFL schedule to be released April 16th

From 1980-1999, Miami played in New England after mid November just 4 times, with only two of those games coming in December/January. Since that time things have been quite the opposite. It would be nice if the NFL would at least schedule the Patriots to play a 1:00 (though if I recall correctly, the organization chooses if they play 1:00 or 4:00 home games for the most part) in Miami during either the first or second week of the season. I have no idea what criteria the NFL uses when determining at what point of the season divisional rivals should play, but it would be nice to to see the Dolphins finish at home.

I can't wait til the annual Pats game in December at Foxboro, said no Dolfan ever.

I'm gonna make sure im in indy for that game for sure. I got to see that defensive debacle in person last year and i need some redemption.

I hope we have a Monday night game this year. With the opponents we have this year I see 4 prime time games in our future

Looks similar to the 2009 schedule except the Chargers and Jets were contenders, we didn't play the Ravens, and we split with the Pats. They're going to maybe test us to see if we're the real deal by giving us Atlanta first. Watch!

I think our over/under for wins will be 8 1/2. I'm going over on that. I think we win 10 with that schedule.

I've seen some folks (not necessarily here) opine that Denver has got to be a lock for the opener. However, the NFL has a policy that teams can only get one Thursday night game each season. And apparently, the only two options to play Dallas on Thanksgiving are Denver and Oakland.

My guess is that the NFL would much rather have Denver/Dallas on Thanksgiving than the Raiders. I think Baltimore @ Pittsburgh is much more likely unless the Ravens protest that possibility.

don't care if its away or home but I want NE first game.
