John Michael Vincent of ESPN 1070 Indianapolis reports Peyton Manning will need to undergo another procedure on his neck.
Be skeptical of the report until it's confirmed elsewhere. Manning will reportedly be out "indefinitely" if it's true. Adam Schefter's report that the organization is preparing to go forward with Kerry Collins as the Week 1 starter does lend some credibility to this report. We'll let you know when we hear more. This is huge news if true.

This is the beginning of the down fall for the Colts....

Will struggle to win 6 games if Manning is out for the season.

Colts won't be THAT bad. The Bengals, Bills, Seahawks, could be possible teams for Luck. But you never know, those seem most likely though.

Interesting to see how the police department operates without The Sheriff in town.

Colts are a 5-win team at most without Peyton Manning. Quarterbacks are absolutely horrible, no running game, defense is not good enough to keep things close.

I'm not sure if this is true. They had just started to let Manning throw the ball around. I don't think they would take that chance knowing he's still not near 100%.

Glad I avoided him in my fantasy drafts. No one is stopping the Miami Money Shots this year.

Bill Polian "says" he doesn't know about any surgery. But if he does do you think he would say something? I don't know what he would have to benefit from hiding it.

Colts president Bill Polian said Sunday he knows nothing about a talk radio report that Manning needs a second neck surgery. The report originated from a Twitter update from 1070-AM The Fan in Indianapolis.

Sources told La Canfora there has been no additional surgical procedure scheduled.
