(Rumor)Philbin Wins the Job

Today in my sport management class here at FSU, my professor who has inside sources to the FO of the Dolphins reported to the class that Philbin will be the coach unless he decides to take time off because of his son's passing. However, as of now Philbin will be the coach of the 2012 Miami Dolphins. Just wanted to share what I heard.
 
Appreciate the info- however, please don't post definitive thread titles like this just yet when there hasn't been any kind of announcment.
 
Im gonna wait for ESPN, NFL Network plus a press conference
 
why would they even offer him the job if there is uncertainty regarding whether he is going to take time off due to his son's death. doesn't make sense at all.

I just finished my masters from the FSU Sport Management program. Which professor has inside sources to the FO of the Fins?? I hope it's true; would love the Philbin addition!
