(Rumor)Philbin Wins the Job

Today in my sport management class here at FSU, my professor who has inside sources to the FO of the Dolphins reported to the class that Philbin will be the coach unless he decides to take time off because of his son's passing. However, as of now Philbin will be the coach of the 2012 Miami Dolphins. Just wanted to share what I heard.

Maxwell Smart is that you?

:bobdole:

LOL at a professor having "inside sources". :chuckle:

Even if Philbin becomes head coach, this post is absolutely a shot in the dark.

So the amount of posts indicates whether the person is lying or has bad info?

Good job.

So says the guy with 7 posts....LOL. I kid, amount of posts means crap. However, is nothing more than the opinion of his professor.

Still appreciate him sharing....However, pretty certain no one within the Dolphins inner circle would leak that especially in light of further interviews coming tomorrow....of course you never know with this FO.

Not sure I'd describe becoming the head coach of the Miami Dolphins as "winning".

My CS instructor worked for the Dolphins in the 1970's and she said..........

You sure this wasn't just him teaching you a lesson on "don't believe everything you hear"? That's sports management 101.

i just saw on the nfl network scroll that philbin has made plans to meet with the bucs sometime next week for the h/c job.

there was also another team after the bucs he is scheduled to meet with, i think it was the colts.

so, if this is true, it doesnt sound like he is taking or getting the finz job. it appears the team wants to get it done now, not later.

i still say its all a dog and pony show and its going to be todd "aint done a thing in this leauge" bowles.

the only thing going across the scroll as far as miami is mccoy and bowles are meeting the team again for second interviews.

all these "insiders" everyone has should get together and get their stories straight!!

I don't laugh at all the "my sources tells me"....what I laugh about is how worked out everyone gets over it.......we will all find out soon....in the mean time, stop going crazy over every little thing you hear. Everyone here complain about the media but then they play the game the media wants them to play....lol

Ozzy rules!!

please state the name of your prof.

I was just taking a dump and Balthazar, the magic talking plunger, who was next to me told me that Marty ball was coming to Miami. Now since Balthazar has never lied to me I thanked him by laying pregnant roaches at his base, which was the proper way to give homage to magic plungers.

I have no link so take it how you will.
