(Rumor)Philbin Wins the Job

lets hope your right, your rep would go up fast if its true
 
Somehow everyone knows someone who has inside info to some team. Lets just wait till the reports come out. Until then I am fine with any of these coaches. It's all about attitude and trust from the players in the coach and believing in the system that the HC has put forth and surrounding yourself with great coordinators and coaches.
 
Let me preface my post by saying that if I lost one of my kids, I'm not sure how I could go on living. I would literally want to end my life.

However, you'd have to think that Philbin and the tragedy that has befallen his family would likely endear people across the country to him. As an NFL head coach, his story will be told a million times during the season next year. You're likely going to see a lot of people pulling for him...and whatever team he ends up being in the spotlight with.
 
We aren't finding out until Friday or Saturday. They know Bowles, they have interviewed Philbin twice, and McCoy tomorrow - I think they eat dinner and discuss Thursday night and contact winners/losers Friday morning, and press conference friday night or saturday...I want Zimmer...
 
All I can say is......I wish I was in that class.

Miami has a quality Defense as a whole...Miami has quality RBs, quality WRs .......an O-line that with just 1 quality Guard or tackle becomes at worst actually pretty good.....a QB on the roster that proved can handle a game well enough to allow a good defense and Running game to help him win the game at the end. A good Coach sees the playoffs in his 1st year with this roster, not including what they do in the offseason and the Draft.

Trashing the team you supposedly root for....real nice.

The oline was not good unless you call 52 sacks given up good

Today in my sport management class here at FSU, my professor who has inside sources to the FO of the Dolphins reported to the class that Philbin will be the coach unless he decides to take time off because of his son's passing. However, as of now Philbin will be the coach of the 2012 Miami Dolphins. Just wanted to share what I heard.

I used to work w/ someone who had a family member that was prominent in the U of Utah Athletic Dept. While I'd get interesting tidbits; I would not consider it a source.
