Rumor/Report: Priest Holmes to retire

Why would he retire? That doesn't make any sense.


I think your Chief friend is either misinformed, or trying to pull a joke on you.

I have heard he may be done for the season with an injury... but as far as retiring, well stranger things have happened.
 
I know, it doesn't make any sense to me either. I guess the head trauma is more serious than they originially thought.

It's no joke...now my friend is saying it will be officially announced tomorrow.
 
Over on that Chiefs link that was given, they said they found a lump in his spine that could leave him paralyzed if he takes a blow, I think he's done.

Ouch, thats horrible.
 
NOt a surprize, he considered retiring 2 years ago, or whenever that hip injury occured.
 
If it's true it's extremely bad news for a guy who still had at least this year and all of next as a good RB.
