Adam Schefter on Sid Rosenbergs show says:

1) The asking price for Jason Taylor is going to go up.

2) Jake Long is the ONLY player they have talked to and not close to an agreement and there is NOT a deadline.

3) He is hearing that McFadden is the #1 player on our board but doesn't believe it.

asking price as in how far up? we'll ask for a 1st instead of a 2nd? and clearly we are actively shopping him if so and as opposed to them saying he will be a fin. as i stated before you can tell in JT's face and body language he spent his last days iwht miami especially from dancing wiht the stars.
 
I believe Adam stated that N.O.'s is a team wanting to trade up into the top 5...I believe for Dorsey....well the only way for sure is to trade up the Dolphins....because either the Rams or the Falcons very well could make Dorsey their pick.
 
that has to be BS.

no way is McFadden #1 on our boards. u dont pay 2 runningbacks a load of money, Ronnie already has a fat contract, no way do u give another runningback a fat contract.

Though i admit, having Ronnie and McFadden, is a great runningback corps. Now u just need an OL to block for them...and by OL, we'll need an RT. plus an extra TE and WR to support them.

The draft could go:

R1: McFadden
2a: Gosder Cherilus...RT.
2b: Mario Manningham...WR.
R3: Dustin Keller...TE.
R4: Brad Cottom....great big TE.

yeah, our offense will be red-hot in no time.

Do you trade all the way down to 10?.What would we target at 10?
 
Like i said JT will be traded durring the draft best guess is a 2nd not a 1st ans maybe a very late rounder doubt it though a 2nd is good enough IMO. Jake Long would be great for our O-line but BP could pick someone to build the D around. Who knows anymore rumors everywhere. I just find it weird nothing is being said about Chris Long.

I'll be happy with who ever we get BP knows more about football then i or anyone else here. Dolphins fan 1st since 1978

me guessing, but teams like the Packers and Jaguars do not have a lot of needs. Maybe you can convince them that they will not be able to get a better player than JT in the late first.

Just a thought...it could be the reason why the Dolphins are only talking to J. Long...if he agree's they stay at 1...if not they can trade and still get a player of need and more picks.

Jeff Otah. I think that would be awesome to pick up a 2nd, maybe a late rounder too.

I can also see Cincy trading up, they have the #9 pick and desperately need DL help after the trades for Shaun Rogers, Dewayne Robertson, and another DT fail at the last stage. Do they take a chance that CLong, Dorsey, Gholston, or Ellis drops to #9?

Just becuase McFadden is the number one player available doesn't mean were going to draft him.

And I highly doubt Manningham will make it to the 2b pick man.
