Ummm... no. Garfinkel isn't really a football guy and Dan Marino making personnel decisions is fanboi fantasy. Too many people think that because Elway is finding success with Denver that Marino will find similar success with Miami. Elway gained front office experience for years in the Arena League. Marino has no front office experience at all. He'd have to learn as he went along. No thanks.

It is so ridiculous that it makes sense for Ross...a new yorker.
I think that hypothesis has some merit. Aponte would love that arrangement.

What is any of this based on other than some ambiguous feeling you have? Aponte doesn't make personnel decisions. That she expresses an opinion on the direction this team is heading doesn't bother me. She's the least of this team's problems. What has Garfinkel done to show he knows the path we should be taking?

I don't think it will amount to anything more than Ross asking Marino his opinion on an already formulated plan to move forward. I'm highly doubtful Marino is giving up his tv job to steer the Titanic.

If you guys put so much stock in Marino as an advisor then he'll tell Ross she's no good. We'll see

Aponte might be the one drilling the holes in the boat of that vary sinking ship.

Ross is certainly going to make a play for Harbaugh. Whether he gets him or not will depend on the price SF demands.
