Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette cautions "do not be surprised if Steelers trade Mike Wallace during training camp."We fully expect the Steelers to listen to offers now that they no longer believe they can sign Wallace to a long-term deal. Dulac reports the team's brass called Drew Rosenhaus, agent for Antonio Brown, hours after Wallace failed to report for the start of camp. Rosenhaus and the Steelers then spent two days hammering out a deal for Brown while Wallace twisted in the wind. The franchise proved two years ago with the Santonio Holmes trade that they won't hesitate to make an example of a player who won't get with "Steeler-Way."

I'd trade everything for this guy!

Idk...he is good, but he has to learn à new system and will zodiac take away some develepment from another reciever. You have to count the cost of the picks or players you are giving up and that phat contract he IS going to desire..i wouldnt be upset or overly happy either way, because i hate trading picks..i doubt if jeff will pull the trigger anyway as i think we will roll with this group for this year

Mike Wallace is a top 5 receiver in the NFL.

Dont take this offensively but IDGAF who we have in our group currently, Mike Wallace is worth it.

The problem is he wants a huge deal. We dont have the cap this year..he would have to agree to a backloaded deal. But i think we see if Philibin can develop his own guys first.

I wouldn't give up our first for him, but a second for sure. The deal we'd sign him to would be the deal breaker though. How much did Marshall make? I don't think Wallace is in that range tbh, a contract similar to what Antonio Brown got would have to be the bare minimum you'd think

Even if we trade for him, he would have to be willing to play for peanuts this season.

Forgive my spelling. This was sent from my phone.

It's incredible to think that we can't afford to bring in great players because our cap is always a mess yet we haven't done a damn thing for a decade. It would be fine if we had a lot of money tied up in a HOF QB or competed for the playoffs every year but we spend all our money on a left tackle and some mediocre defenders.
