It's being reported over Saintsreport (the site's down or I would've given a link) that the Phins are looking at former Saints 3rd stringer AMac. I felt bad for him after the idiotic mascot incident. He never got a chance to show his stuff in the preseason. McPherson was cut after the injury.
 
I like all our QB's more. Maybe he's practice sqaud material though.
 
I think thats what they are looking at him for and he does have a great amount of possible upside.
 
The article I saw said they were looking at McPhearson, but also Rohan Davie and Drew Henson.
 
He's still a Saint - He's on Saints IR after the mascot incident.

I don't think that we need another injured QB, so I prefer the ones already on our roster.

I do like the fact that we're starting Harrington. Let CPep get a chance to regain his health and confidence.
 
id love to get either him or omar jacobcs...put them on the p-squad and make them our 3rd if culpepp goes on the IR...and we can send them to NFL Europe
 
culpepper wont go on ir, not a chance. id take omar jacobs over mcpherson.
 
I wanted the phins to draft him but we didnt of course the phins drafted some else. He seems to be a project some team can put in the works.

He got run over by a cart driven by the Tennessee team mascot TRAC while doing some catches off field during one of the preseason games. Got hurt pretty bad.
 
It's simply because there is internal talk about whether or not to sit Daunte for the entire season and thus bump Cleo up to 2 and then bring in a #3. The three names mentioned were, as stated, Davey, McPherson and Drew Henson.
