So, if you look on google for pictures or ebay for merch, you will probably come across something saying that.

All I want to know is, how did "Run Ricky Run!" originate?

I was thinking maybe from Forrest Gump, because neither one would stop running?

Just a random post, pointless I know. But I'm curious
 
Probably just because he was the only good RB we had for almost 30 years? There were all kinds of catch phrases about Ricky or Miami running the ball in 2002. I saw one when I went to a game that year that just said "THEY RUN" and had a picture of the team with RW highlighted. It was pretty sweet but just reminded you how much our running game sucked for so long for everyone to be making suck a big deal about it.
 
Started with Ricky. He used to have a blog with that name. Or I could be wrong and I'm sure I'll be corrected.
 
I did think it started during his college days, I just want to know how it originated though.
 
It was Ricky Williams personal website. After he "retired" the site was taken down. It's up now but someone apparently bought the domain name.
 
I can only imagine how many Superbowls we would have won if Marino was QBing the team with Ricky at RB and the defense of the early 2000's.
 
Aw man, Ricky was ****in ridiculous his first year with us. 1853? and 16tds? Damn, he was truly unstoppable. So sad how that season ended, how do you have the leagues leading rusher, and like 6 defensive probowlers (Taylor, Thomas, Ogunleye, Surtain, Madison, Marion) and NOT make the playoffs??????? I am still pissed about that one, with a good coach we would've won the SB for sure.
