Was it me or was our run stopping unbelievable last night? I know its the pre season but wow they only ran for 66 yards. Oh and Eric Green...ouch
 
I agree. We looked physical on the D LIne last nite...and that is what I wanted to see. I wanted to see how our depth would look. But it's the 1st Preseason game so we'll see.
 
Defense was flying all over the field last night, and the pass rush from the starters was great to see. JT and Porter both getting a sack, and Camron wake later on in the game. Good push from the Dline all night.
 
The 1st team defense was outstanding last night, not just against the run but in every aspect.
 
It was not just you. The starting front 7 did look imposing. What was even more impressive was the sack that Porter got. It was a coverage sack! Go figure. I think we're pretty close to turning the corner with our secondary. Sean Smith has certainly outplayed his first round counterpart to this point, and Eric Green....meh.
 
Yeah Eric Green definitely left much to be desired, the starting D def looked good even though you must take it with a grain of salt.
 
I haven't had the chance to see any practices this year and I was just wondering how Kendall Langford has looked overall in training camp, after being such a pleasant surprise last season. Any observations? THX.

Langford is still Langford.
He is playing the run just as well as he did last year
 
I really like having Starks in at RDE, and McDaniel looks good for our rotation...However, I think Merling has a way to go...
