Russell Wilson could have been a Miami Dolphin

That WR is 6'5, makes it a lot easier to hit! We desperately need a big receiving threat

I'm more concerned about finding out who that receiver is and what his contract looks like since he actually goes up for passes...

So now its all the undrafted receivers bailing him out?

Lynch proves he might not be good. His defense proves he might not be good. The coverage proves he might not be good. Belichick's pass rush scheme proves he might not be good. And now its his receivers that prove he might not be good. So I have to ask, what does he, the QB, have to do to prove that he just might be the one that is good?

by making plays when he needs to, by making plays in crunch time, by making plays even after you struggled for most of the half/game. By keeping your team together, and making plays, getting it done. 14-14

It's all good . . . Russell is winning titles and laughing his way to the bank . . . don't think he cares what Dolfans think about him . . . hell our QB situation has been so bad for so long many of the people on here have no clue what a good QB is.

Wouldn't it be nice if RT could throw a perfectly placed deep ball like that. But yeah, Wilson must suck.

Never said that. Just saying that Mathews has gone up and fought for nearly every pass, if not every pass, thrown his way. Nothing has been a "bread-basket" throw so far as people say...

bread basket? the ball is placed high and perfect on the outside on the last play and the inside on the first bomb. Those don't require bread basket throw catches . . . the ball placement made the catch much easier than it looked.

agreed.... now both deep throws were wel lplaced to matthews to get... plus that touchdown was back shoulder only where he could get the ball... Much like Brady throw to Gronk... up and out where only the WR can get... well thrown!!!

theres many different types of throws you need to be able to make in the NFL... bread basket is one, but those werent the type of throws needed in those situations... bread basket was Wilson beating Green Bay deep on very good coverage.

Sorry but I've seen Tannehill do the exact same thing and receivers' feet never leave the turf. Wallace, our supposed "deep threat" requires "bread-basket" throws just for a chance to catch the pass...

I understand that whatever I say you or someone else will be there to say the opposite and that's fine. However, when you have someone on our team like Wallace who is suppose to be that guy as your deep threat unwilling to fight or layout for passes, everything has to be a "bread-basket" pass or he just won't even give the effort for it. I've seen it, others have seen it, and unless you haven't watched a single game, you too have seen it.

This thread is ridiculous on both sides. Wilson is good and no one can deny that...

But he wouldn't have led the Dolphins to the Super Bowl with a **** OL, an imploding D and Lil Queasy leading the team

When have you seen Tannehill make perfectly placed deep balls as consistently as Russell Wilson. C'mon man . . . this is a dead argument to me . . . keep fighting the good fight. Go Seahawks!!

Am I the only one that is impressed with the line of the Seahawks? They are dominating the line of scrimmage on both sides right now. Wilson is just dancing around back there and making plays. Hes making his WRs better for sure. Wilson is playing fantastic right now.. Nice but we dont have Wilson and WONT have Wilson. We have Tannehill. Build around Tannehill. Build up our line on both sides, and fix our linebackers and get a number 2/3 HB that can run with power. "Id welcome Moreno back with another back to have a 3 headed monster.. Were all so in love with the QB position and rightfully so, but winning is still a team sport and it starts up front. The Cardinals were 12-4 with 3 different QBs. If the Dolphins could be a physical team and get a dominating running game to capitalize in the redzone I think we can be a top tier team as well.

Why do people insist on comparing the two? Two totally different players. Wilson has one of the most accurate deep balls in the game. It is what it is, get the **** over it. I just don't get how everything turns into a Tannehill bash-fest on every ****ing thread. Is it not possible for you guys to look at Wilson and say, wow, he's a special player who also has a ton of help and fits his team perfectly. We have Tannehill, get the **** over it. He has a whole separate skill set. Get the **** over it. Everyone knew Tannehill would be a project and would take 3-4 years before a more complete assessment can be made. Get the **** over it.
