Is this a possibility during the offseason? RW getting traded to philly? ppl on other forums say that westbrook wont be resigned and the team is looking for a RB. is it a possibility that we trade him for a pick or a DT since htey are very deep in that position?

They will probably just draft one with there 1st round pick. There are a couple good backs coming, not like the talent last year but some solid backs coming out

I really don't see it. I think its much more likely we trade Minor etc. I just don't think Saban brought back Ricky as trade bait. They seem to have some kind of connection. Saban is constantly praising him for his ethic etc. And they both like to use a lot of Saban/Ricky speak with the media (which I find Hilarious). I think it is a media invention. I also don't think Ricky wants to play for another team.

Just my opinion Though. I guess Anything is possible.

I think this one came up on this forum a while back actually. I don't follow the Eagles' business end of things, but if the yare looking for a RB (and if Ricky shows flashes of being something close to what he was before), and if they have a lot of any position we need then I guess common sense tells me it is a possibility. Who knows? It all depends on how well Ricky shows this year, because he could end up being an extra piece thrown into a bigger trade if he doesn't play well and Ronnie and Sammy do. It's a long season. Hard to be sure.

I will say this. A team looking for depth and competition at RB would be more likely than a team pnning their entire running back hopes on Williams, no matter how well he plays.

i believe all this praise is for trading value....more of a buss. mind. you want to make him look good or else ppl wont be interested. if they dont praise about him, no one will hear bout him and teams wont be interested or wont offer a good pick/deal for a trade.

i rem. reading somewhere that the eagles or dolphins..someone reported that they never talked about a trade before the deadline this year.

Like I said, I guess it's possible. I just think the Eagle wouldn't be willing to give us Ricky's true value and they be better off in the draft.

Or maybe they are looking to bring back Staley, who is no longer going to be in Pittsburgh, and already knows their playbook.

I really don't see Ricky going anywhere next offseason. I doubt that any team would want him because they will be concern on his love for the game. They will prob think that he will walk out of them too. We all know that Ricky doesn't like sharing because you can just tell by what he says, so he will have to learn to live with the fact that he will be a backup until he proves that he can carry the rock.

A first round pick is the minimum I would accept for from the eagles, because of the Feeley trade.

A pick maybe , but it must be a rnd 1 --not interested in a Dt as i think we are set there--A CB but they not got any quality have they :)

Ricky needs too much touches to be effective in the Eagles -O.

williams has no trade value. no team will trade for him untill he shows he can still play. and so far, he hasnt.

Between not doing well so far this season and Ricky very low cap number I just dont see us getting rid of the guy.Unless some team gets very desperate and has a high first rounder coming it just wouldnt be worth it.Ricky is a valuable commodity at this point in the season and if he plays well the rest of the way he could be much more valuable at the end/offseason.I prefer we keep him for depth and his price tag.
