I'm not sure if Ryan would consider the role, but if so, surely Miami need to pursue him as the DC?? He knows the division and knows how to game plan for Brady and co. It makes perfect sense. Pay the man and get him down to South Florida.
 
Its been reported he wont accept a DC role next year.
 
Money talks. If Ross wants to break bank and pay him like a HC I am sure he could be persuaded especially if he isn't hired as a HC. I would love to have Ryan as DC.

For those hoping newly-fired Rex Ryan comes to Miami to be D coordinator, forget about it. Ryan already expressed he wants to be a HC again.

Also some experts I've spoken to around the league, including Charley Casserly and Gil Brandt, seem to think Coyle is a great D coordinator.
 
i would hope rex would reconsider, especially miami since philbin is gone after another bad year and then rex can takeover as head coach.. get it done
 
No....it's not going to happen.

As much as I think Rex could do a good job with our defense, he isn't going to be a DC.
 
not gonn ahapen. i'd bet he wil be falcons HC or broadcasting. no way he goes to the jets rival to be demoted

How could you not want him as HC at this point????

provided Harbaugh is not available.
 
There's a long list of blunders by Rex as a HC, many here think the grass is greener on the other side of the fence
