Per the herald through rotoworld . Go fins !

Ryan Tannehill is no longer wearing a cast on his injured knee.

Tannehill was treated by Dr. James Andrews last week in Pensacola, Florida. Per Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald, there is "real reason for optimism" that Tannehill can return at some point during the postseason. Matt Moore has held his own in Tannehill's absence, delivering six touchdowns with only two interceptions over two starts. A Denver loss on Sunday would send Miami to the playoffs for the first time since 2008.

As long as he isn't rushed back!

Shake it off and get your ass back in the game! It's just a scratch son!

As long as those ligaments are completely fine and he feels confident in that knee, get him out there as soon as he's ready. He does seem to be making significant progress from week to week. Hard cast during the Jets game, soft brace/cast this week. He looks more comfortable every time we see him. I would guess he's a fast healer because his past dings never really left him on the injury report that long, and I'm sure his conditioning helps and that he listens to all the advice given to expedite the healing process.

Just don't rush back if you know you aren't ready Tannehill, if you are, well come on back.

I'm conflicted here .... if I could Moore Tannehill's arm strength and guts .... would love to keep him in, heck we'd never have drafted RT. Or flip it, if we could give RT Moore's moxie and 'understanding' .... RT would be an unquestioned keeper.

IF RT was healthy enough to play, I want him dressed, but would not start him .... we need him if we got behind and needed to go deep. Besides, Moore likely won't survive a playoff run health wise .....

Having to prepare for 2 different QBs is tough for a defense ...

I'd rather see him shut down til next yr and just ride it out with MM.

Over a sprained knee that has healed? You play with those who give you the best chance to win and if Ryan is healed up enough to go through practice without any pain/discomfort/setbacks, then he should return to duty.

If the Doctors are confident that there isn't an increase chance of him making the injury worse, then you play him. I think, even if there is a small chance that he would be more susceptible to that particular injury again and have a big setback, then he sits. Gase understands that this season is only the beginning of his and Tannehill's time together in Miami and that one game may not be worth the risk.

Id rather Moore ride this out. Tannehill's pocket presence is already shaky as it is, cnt imagine a dinged up version.

If he is 100%, you play him...no question.

There is no way he'd be 100% this season. Healthy Moore is better than hobbled Tannehill, no question about that. The question is do you want to give hobbled Tannehill that playoff experience even though he isn't the best option. Its the same conundrum we faced in 2013.
