Ryan Grant

James starks is terrible. If Alex green doesn't pan out they'll be kicking themselves for cutting Grant

My first reaction is that the Pack must be even stronger than I thought, to cut him loose. Most often, I face palm these kinds of suggestions, but this one I'd most emphatically jump on immediately!

He is definitely a better option than LJ, I don't think anyone will claim otherwise. However, would Grant come as cheap as LJ? Also, would he be willing to be the 3rd string running back behind Bush and Thomas, I think the answer would be no.

don't see another team maybe seattle where he would start and i think he could beat out DT this year depending on how bad his ankle is

Exactly. They key is finding a good RB, that would be willing to come in here and play a limited number of snaps in the 3rd string role.

Well he would likely be the #2 guy with Grant getting the bulk of the actual carries.

I can't see the FO eating crow, and moving Thomas to the 3rd slot. Why did we even draft him in the second round then?

Thats not eating crow. Thats aquiring a RB that is better then him and would help this football team. plain and simple.
