Having watched every game that RT has played for the fins and having watched every game Fielder played for the fins, I can tell you with certainty that in '01 or '02 we would go deeper into the playoffs with RT at the helm.

I have no data to back this up. Just watched a lot of football in my lifetime.

Those were decent offensive teams in 01 and 02 and outstanding defensive teams. To suggest some sort of equivalency with the 2013 squad is really quite an insult to them. The '02 o-line was leagues beyond what we had in 13. Let's not over-complicate it.

A priori , one can see it's pointless to compare data collected 12 years apart in completely different internal and external environments. There is no need to attack the poster but there is equally no need to attack the data in this case.

Fiedler was a leader and had guts. He threw a decent deep ball, but he missed a wide open Chambers deep way too many times. His inability to connect with Chambers killed us in so many games. It was the one thing that cost us a SB run with that team.

Fiedler did not have the arm strength of Tannehill, but overall he was a much better QB.

Worse numbers in every category except sacks, but he's better than tannehill. Smh
 
C'mon man!!!! Fiedler came into the NFL in 1994, but you're going to compare Tannehill's first two years to Fiedler's 6th and 7th year as a pro?!?!?

jay fiedler was garbage...the last playoff win this team has had lamar smith literally took the team and carried it on his back to the tune of like 200 yards rushing and like 40 carries...and when i say literally i mean it cause i recall guys on the dolphins teammates literally jumping on his back after a carry late in the game...

of course smith literally had nothing left the following week...overuse the week prior

wannstedt saddled us with the worse contract in football when he resigned the keebler elf like he was a franchise qb...assanine
