Talk about quashing the old Tannehill can't throw deep argument.

Stills has had some nice touchdowns this year.

Glad we didn't cut him after many were asking for it due to the worst drop of his career. He's still not fully healthy but he helps Parker a lot just being on the field. Look forward to both of them on the field when they're 100% and on form.

Gotta love the Bobby McCain expression when the receivers drop a few passes.

This is 3 weeks old its from 2012 - 2015

Anyone else notice how he seems to be MORE accurate when he's getting smashed in the face?! I've been a Tannehill supporter from day one but everyone has to admit that that's pretty amazing.

Tannehill is a masochist. He needs pain to play well. He's just very subtle about it, as most are.

Nice compilation. Some of those were pretty crazy. He's really developed this part of his game.

Non-issue that became an "issue" when we brought in Wallace.

His deep ball with Clay and Hartline was more than okay. It was MW who Ryan never really clicked with.

Tannehill can't throw deep, he is not accurate enough, that is already a closed issue. ;)

That throw to Stills against the Chargers while he about to get smashed in the mouth was one of the best throws I've ever seen.

Those were some damned accurate throws! Even the two INT's, the WR's would have had it if they had continued their stride. Stills slows up on one, and can't get to the spot on time to contest it. Questionable decision to throw that, but it was still an accurate throw, and Stills shares that INT. Then the deep ball to DVP is a good throw as well, but DVP misjudges the ball in the air, slows up and jumps too soon, and the ball sails over his head. Typically, when a QB overthrows a bomb it isn't intercepted, but here the DB read it perfectly and kept running when DVP stopped and jumped early. IMHO, the drop-in-the-bucket throws with more arc are more forgiving for WR's and minimize those misjudged jumps ... but Tannehill delivered the ball accurately and on time. That INT is on DVP.

So many pinpoint perfect throws. That one to Landry where he stops on a dime and embarrasses Cleveland was a phenomenal throw inches above two defenders' hands, exactly where Jarvis could catch it before he encounters the 3rd defender with time to sidestep him into ESPN's Plays of the Day.

Watching them all together like that, really underscores just how accurate Tannehill is. He is excellent when given time, but really good when pressured as well. Gase is getting results out of Tannehill. I can see why he attacked the media (Blowmar?) when they ignorantly criticized his deep ball.

You forgot that he's 'just' a converted WR and Miko's statements that the team doesn't have faith in him. I mean, it's all right there written on p. 3 of the Tanne-haetrs Media Guide. ;)

Here's is my take on that from an earlier post of mine and edited to fit this response:

. . . if you watch the original angle of the FS, he's looking to cut in front of DVP for a possible breakup. Once the FS realizes that Tannehill has an arc on the pass and it's headed over DVP's shoulder, he pushes off to redirect himself back to the ball. You can also tell here that there's an unnatural stop in Parker's momentum.

It was DPI and a very bad no call by officiating, not poor timing in the jump by Parker.
