Ryan Tannehill 4 life, he rulesQB

Actually, in this post, he surprisingly did not mention the lack of the deep pass.He was comparing overall stats and QBR. Almost every other post he made this season involves the "deep pass".

well i was saying thats his basis for making this thread.

He should ahve improved with the same cast, and same # of drop backs.

He got a better cast, and dropped back a ton more, and showed very little improvement in my opinion. This should have been a BIG step year, and it wasn't.

No just the one you talk about blaming wallace and not your boy RT.

RT still has the worst dep pass in the league

Look at how much more he threw the ball, without actually doing the math looks like about 20% more if you include todays game? probably a little less. That's great he has more yards, and tds, but not really that much more when yo consider he dropped back much more often, and should have improved had he had the same amount of drop backs at the year before.

What about average yards per pass?
QBR?

so you just pick and choose what stats to fit your agenda?

If you cant tell Tannehill has improved just by watching the games idk what to tell ya...

Now your just reaching. I dont blame one player for anything. How come you can point out Tannehills flaws but i cant point out Wallaces? can you please tell me why?

What did he actually improve in?

His in game decision making still sucks
His accuracy short and especially long still sucks.
He still has zero pocket presence.
He still can't identify blitzers.
He still doesn't extend plays by moving around the pocket.

Where are these improvements???

Dude, if we go by your stats, he will have like 44 tds next year.

I never said you couldn't, you just don't ever point our RT's.

Wallace is a puss of a WR, that doesn't fight for the ball IMO.
He is a one trick pony that we over paid for, but we don't have a QB with anything close to the accuracy needed to get Wallace to do his one trick.

Interestingly, the stats show improvement despite the worst OL I have ever seen and complete lack of running game, all while taking enough sacks to put him in a coma. What more do you want?

More of an improvement then that.

Look at how many extra times he dropped back this year!!!! His stats better improve if he is dropped back that many more times.

And his stats should improve alone just by it being his second year.

And the fact that we got him Wallace.

I'm sorry, the excuses don't fly anymore.

And take the stats out of it:

His accuracy short and especially long still sucks.

I'm curious about the system Tannehill plays under

Is it the system that makes him:

Throw long and short inaccurately?
Mis-read coverage
Never move around the pocket
Never take off and run when it's given to him
Have no pocket awareness?
Take sacks on 3rd down that knock us out of FG range?

Are those things they teach in the system?

I don't know, did you get taught to make posts that are ridiculously over stated and stupid or does it just come naturally?

Considering Tannehill is one if not the most sacked QB's in 2013, I'm not sure what people expect of him. You have linebackers and some linemen running at world class speed looking to give him a concussion.

I think they've drilled it into his head to stay in the pocket until the last second possible and its taking away his ability to make plays with his athleticism. Thats no excuse for the oc not to call more rollouts and giving him the opportunity to take off if he sees it because he's shown to be a good runner. No idea why he can't throw the long ball accurately, he's got the arm strength. Practice could help.

I have before. Just because i dont come on here and bitch about him like a little baby doesnt mean i dont point out Tannehills flaws.

I never blamed Wallace. I dont blame one player in a team sport. Ever.
