ryan tannehill....dave hyde's a believer

who gives a rats *** if garrard or matt moore were looking good against the 2's...both those guys are established veteran qbs they have little to no upside we already know what their ceiling as players is and it's not good enough...ryan tannehill is a whole different ball of wax...if he's showing two days in that he belongs against the 2's when he still has so much to learn and so much upside and can just walk in the building and look the part not hard to think that in time with the 1's he can do the exact same thing...talents talent and indications are this kids showing more than any qb we've had in the building in 10 damn years veteran or not...yeah the opposition skill level is gonna raise when he plays against the 1's but so is the weapons and talent at the skill positions and across the board at his disposal...b/t high end nfl qbs raise the play level of everyone around them...whats to say the kid won't do the same for us???

i fail to see how what garrard or matt moore do matters at all...all our hopes for the future lie in ryan tannehill at this point...maybe he does come back down to earth when he gets run with the 1's...so the hell what...that doesn't mean he's peaked...david garrard and matt moore on the other hand they have...

why am i reading posters on here about a night practice tomorrow??? the schedule i'm seeing says 840 am open to the public...

What you're seeing is correct. There are 0 night practices.

Lets not give the kid, too much praise. Lets see how this kid plays, in live game action. Everyone looks good in practice. Hell, former Oklahoma QB, Josh Heupel looked good in practice, when he was with Dolphins. He stunk it up, during the preaseason and got himself cut.

Negative! I have been saying start him since draft night. Expectations are low this year so better too put him in and let him grow add the team is rebuilt.

I'm not being negative. The article is based on a writer with no REAL NFL experience and an OBVIOUS agenda.

I hate to quote Herme Lewis but...

The idea is to win as many games as possible, NOW.

I'm not against the idea of starting Tannehil.

I'm against the idea of starting ANY player based on what Hyde has to say. Training camp has just STARTED. They need to practice and play in preseason and the best QB will stand out.

Philbin surely has a process with which he will decide who he wants to start at QB. It is not based on the first 3 days of training camp, or based on the medias 'expectations' for the Dolphins, and it definitely is not based on what Hyde has to say...

about anything
. :d-day:

All these guys are getting paid to win now.... it's the law.... if there's any indication that Tanny just isn't there yet... and the other's are more prepared to win now.... done deal. There's NO selling this as a "throw away" year... and Tanny should start..... players just won't buy it... and guess what... neither will the fans that go to games.....

You want to fracture this team.... put Tanny out there in week 1 because he's the number 8 pick... and he's the "future" or whatever... unless he beats the brains out of the other 2 in camp and in pre-season....

A ocach wouldn't dare try to sell the team on a throwaway year and by all indications you don't pick up someone like cHad Johnson if this was a throwaway year because you would want to give every young player a chance to get on the field. It's fans like me who would view it as a throwaway year not because I don't think tannehill can ball and win games, but because I don't see the team as being a realistic playoff contender with or w/o tannehill.

This is a first for you.

Normally all your responses are well thought out and stick to the topic. As it stands, you're left with nothing but sarcasm aimed at me.

Are you running a fever CK? You're better than that.

You isolated a post that merely said Ryan Tannehill "looks like he belongs" and pretended it was an extreme overreaction.

Does that deserve to be made fun of?

Yes.

Still waiting for your response on how you'd judge Garrard/Moore vs. the backups if you were to put them in Tanny's place. Would you claim "they belong" too? It's so funny man. Might as well put us down for a Super Bowl while you're at it. I mean after all we've had 3 practices and that's more than enough to get an accurate assessment. We belong!!!!!

LMFAO! And this one deserves to me made fun of even more! You're full of material on this topic.

Person A: "I believe Muslims should be allowed to pray according to their faith."
Person B: "So you want us to dress all women in burkas and stone them for adultery?!? TERRORIST!!!!"
