I'm thinking he must have a serious woody....

A Offensive Tackle

A ( QB Friendly) Wide Receiver

And another Offensive Tackle

We improve the run game, we keep Tannehill from getting hit as much and we improve our WR corp.

Last year our running game was horrible and any thoughts of us having a deep passing game could not work because of constant and quick pressure on Tannehill.

They are of course "just" Rookies but I like them all aging together.

Turner will play guard but yeah solid draft so far

IF Dallas steps it up he could be playing next to his old team mate. RT is feeling good for sure. This Offense is going to be a lot better. Oline beefing up. Exactly what we needed.

I'm really wondering if Dallas Thomas is in our long term plans

We're not hitching our future on him. That's smart. It doesn't mean he can't make himself a part of our plans with a solid camp. If he shows the promise that a lot of people thought he would have but was completely vacant in his play last year, you don't get rid of him.

This is an enormous vote of confidence in Tannehill. Instead of picking a prospective replacement, they are building the team around him - a substantially upgraded OL, a blocking RB and a frigging Chris Carter clone at WR.

We are spoiling tannehill too much.. He deserves though

It's not a vote of confidence, it's a recognition that for better or worse, he will be the unquestioned starter in week one, 2014. Drafting a mid-round QB rarely makes your team better that year, and rarely do they develop into anything that makes your team better. Besides, with the OL they have in there, nobody could be counted on to be successful at the QB or RB position over a 16 game stretch. If Tannehill doesn't pan out, I think we'd be in the same position of having to draft a QB early in the future regardless of drafting some mid-rounder this year. We might as well give the guy we effectively latched our future to when we drafted him two years ago the most chance to succeed.

Too bad he's a statue in the pocket, doesn't throw to open receivers and couldn't buy a deep ball.
