Ryan Tannehill is the reason the Dolphins lost this game

He is the reason we have lost most of the games we have lost over the past few seasons.

Last year, this team goes 11-5 or 12-4 with average QB play.

Just look at the list of teams ranked in the top 10 in points allowed last year. The Dolphins were the only team aside from Arizona on that list not to make the playoffs. And Arizona WON 11 GAMES!!!!

What does that tell you?

And just think of the points that team last year gave up because Tannehill stalled our offense and left our defense on the field so much or put them in bad spots. That couldve been a top 5 defense last season pretty easily with better QB play. Better QB play wouldve also lead to us scoring more than 20 points per game ourselves. So just figure up all the wins.

We lost so many close games where we failed to even score 22 points. I think the defense held our opponents to less than 23 in 13 of 16 games. You have to win 11 or 12 in a season like that. Pathetic.

This roster has talent. Im sorry. It does. I got sick of people blaming everyone but, Tannehill. He is terrible. He does NOTHING for our offense and NOTHING for our team. He kills our defense.

I could've sworn I just read another post of yours where you said we were essentially mediocre at almost every position. Are you 2 different people?

Tannehill isnt the answer by any means but the lack of any quality defensive lb and db depth is inexcusable. There is absolutely nobody on the defense challenging the likes of misi, wheeler or ellerbe for a starting job. Same goes for Finnegan or Grimes.

You can only pay so many guys a lot of money. We paid Ellerbe a lot and it was a mistake.

Give me a qb who with 2nd 2 at midfield down 6 doesn't do what he does.. Lock on a wr and force a throw in coverage with a clean pocket. Then do the same on the next play. He is a one read qb. Ppl in this site who claim to know the game paradise him for having "elite pre snap reads ". But ppl who aren't blind see him for what he is.. Pre determines every throw.
In a gator fan and I feel like I watch Jeff driskell on Saturday and Sunday.
Here is the bottom line. Make all the excuses u want "drops" "defense
Sucks" "new system" "lazor" "failbin". Whatever.. Our qb simply cannot make
The plays we need to change the game. He never has and never will. E lacks the feel for the game
Great qbs have.. He is a athletic big armed prospect.. He is not a football player.. He wasn't special in college and is just another guy now.
Real fin fans can admit it. The jock sniffers can pretend it isn't true and make excuses. It is what it iz

"Dolphins suck" would have saved a lot of time. **** this team.

5.8 yards.

When you have a quarterback who can't process information quick enough, gets stuck in his progressions, and consistently has poor ball location, that's what you get: 5.8 yards per pass.

Tannehill is the real Noodle Arm.

Poor qb play is why we suck. He's below average and that is one position this cannot be masked in the league. It's time for Moore, tannehill does not have it

I want to point out that even though I have always been somewhat critical of Tannehill, and that I always liked Matt Moore and felt he was done wrong by not getting a chance to man this team after he did well, I really hadn't gotten to the point where I felt like it was obvious Tannehill was the weak link and that Moore would be better. Despite the flaws I could see from Tannehill, which early seemed to be just a new and improved version of Henne's flaws, I was in wait and see mode thinking that there could be a chance he could progress especially with a better line, with a better OC, & more running game, but it's just painfully obvious that won't happen. He is actually worse in this offense than he was in Sherman's, and having watched a good deal of this offense in other places I can say that is QB friendly for QB's who have actual awareness and accuracy.

What progression??? He stares at the first read until he gets sacked or forces a throw.. There is no "progression" with this qb.. Mental capacity of Jamarcus Russell, pocket awareness of a pop Warner qb, low releAse of Dennis eckeserly, accuracy of kalernick and mental makeup of grossman

The lack of rushing attack was a tired excuse from last year too. Miller ran well today. He had more per carry than Tannehill had per throw. Pathetic. That is how little our passing game threatens the opposing defense.

The defense was more threatened by a running play in terms of producing a score from anywhere on the field than a passing play. Pathetic.

The OL was unfairly blamed for the sacks last year. Plenty of them were on the OL or the RBs missing blocks, but Tannehill has ZERO ability in the pocket. NONE. He is a sack taker.

This is a GOOD OL. We have an ELITE LT. The Rookie James is doing a fine job at RT. The guys in the middle are competent. They are opening holes in the running game. And yet, where is that potent Tannehill we were told about when we had a good OL and a running game to go with it???????? WHERE IS IT????????????

I thought Tannehill would be better than Russel Wilson with those advantages!!!!! GET ****ING REAL!

Happy adjustments. You shot 59? It must be the clubs. If I had those fancy clubs I'd shoot 59 too.

On one sack after Albert held his block forever then finally his guy got to Tannehill you could almost see it on his face "ARE YOU JUST GOING TO STAND THERE LIKE A STATUE FOR FIFTEEN ****ING MINUTES!?!?!?!"

The short answer to that Brandon is yes. Yes he is.

You are absolutely right. This thread is 100% spot on. Some people will absolutely resist the reality of this but it is the cold, hard truth of our team that Tannehill has to look up at mediocre right now. He's costing us games and the ineptitude of the offense, in particular his play, is making everyone else look bad.

All I heard last year was get Tannehill a better or even average line and a running game so he could blossom. Got both this season and now the passing game is an issue.
