Ryan Tannehill on WQAM with Joe Rose

thanks fishy.. that was a terrific interview. RT's come a long way since his first awkward interactions with the press. You can see he's now a lot more confident, thoughtful and articulate. The development of his public persona seems to be in direct lockstep with his evolution on the field :up:
 
I thought so too. Nothing earth shattering but he did confirm getting some pointers from Dan and the fact Lazor was pushing him to do even more and be elite not just good.
 
It's a good interview.. Ryan realizes all the issues and concerns and seems to have much faith in Lazor and respect for Philbin. You might consider enlisting one of the mods to move this over, or duplicate the thread in the main forum for greater exposure. :idk:

Good interview. Joe didn't hold much back including lack of the long ball. ... so "bump" (because Fishy won't)
 
Is it just me, or does it seem like Joe isn't a big fan of Tannehill?
 
I have always thought Joe liked Tannehill from all his interviews with other folks. Now Big O on the other hand is a hater.

O is not a hater. I swear some of you listeners just don't listen. He clearly says every day he's not a believer and wants to be proven wrong and hopes he's wrong. He doesn't think Ryan really has it but he's pulling for him because he likes him. I like O contrary to what most of you say about him. He's straight up sports talk with no bells, whistles, farts, burps, Azzclowns that other hosts provide inFlorida and he says it like it is. I'm from the northeast and sports radio has it all over Florida sports radio, but Big O is good listening when I want some Fins talk
 
We were talking about Miami radio personalities in the chat earlier, and I think the general consensus was about what I expected: Big O is an obnoxious blowhard, and probably a terrible human being as well.

Every week after the Dolphins game, win or lose, I flip on the Dolphins postgame show. Every week, win or lose, Big O is screaming at a caller after hanging up on him. And I flip it off.

I could care less about his personal life but he's good at being honest and talking sports. I don't understand why Florida listeners complain about him, he's the only guy down there with a straight up show. I don't need him to blow smoke about the Fins

Because he's awful. Some of the worst radio I've ever heard, and the South Florida radio market has been pretty awful over the past 20 years. (RIP Phil Hendrie)

I don't know, I don't get too much into his personality I guess, he just talks Fins all the time and I like that. J Rose is too concerned about perving NBC weather girls, and Rozenberg is moron and always was even in NY spending too much on politics. If I want to hear politics I watch Foxnews
