Ryan Tannehill VS RG3

I think it's much too soon to be saying what RG3 or Tannehill will do in the NFL. There is one tidbit I put some stock in, though, and that's Ireland's claim that what they saw in Tannehill was very close to RG3 in terms of athleticism and a slight edge to Tannehill for the style of offense he has ran in college. Assuming that statement is honest, I think we got a QB whose ability is pretty close but is rough around the edges and needs coaching. I think that makes him Philbin's kind of guy.

What about that undrafted wr we signed that played with Tannehil?

How did he look in that game?

I've read that he could make an impact right away, I've also read that he didn't play well last season compared to his prior season for some reason.

23 dropped passes last season

Check this video out, Texas A&M VS Baylor 2011...confirms for me that the Dolphins got the right guy, I would not trade him for RG3 right now.

RG3...28/40 430 YDS 3 TDS/1 INT...12 CAR-15 YDS RUSHING

Tannehill...25/37 415 yds 6 TDS/1 INT.... 5 CAR-55 YDS RUSHING

Equal teams, both ranked in the top 25.......Texas A&M 55 - Baylor 28

I think we finally found our quarterback!

Well now that I read that great write up on Tanny and after watching this video... I now have a chubby! I cant wait to see him play!

What I really look forward to seeing Ryan Tannehill do more is actually running the football. I really didn't feel like he made as good use of his legs as he could have considering his 4.5 speed and background as a team leading receiver. He didn't have a feel for it. He focused very heavily on buying time so that he could throw the ball. That's good, but every now and then when you get the right look it's nice to decisively run the football as well, picking up big chunks of yards.

I do as well CK, I mean this guy is pretty exciting from the standpoint that he has prototype size, arm strength etc etc...but his 4.5 speed which we saw some of in this game is another dimension that most of the great quarterbacks of the past did not have.

The thread tag is a complete lie

How is that? Its about a video of a game where Tannehill's team faced RG3's...whats a lie about that?
