He has a league leading 17 scoring drives in the final 5 minutes of a half, 8 of them in the final 2 minutes. That's really impressive.
Love this kids guts and poise in big situations.[/FONT]

We should run the 2-min drill everytime we have the ball. We are good at it. Scored yesterday at the end of the 1st half and essentially the winning TD drive was a 2-minute drill even though w had more than 2 minutes.

That's damn impressive! As others have pointed out, it's hard to believe that a bunch of other QBs would not either be triaged or headcases as a result of the punishment he's endured. Mental toughness and resiliency will serve him well.

Not even finished with his 2nd year yet.. it's still a journey for him and hopefully a pleasurable one for us spectators as well.

This tells me we should be running more hurry up offense. I think we'll see a lot more of it next year with RT getting another full offseason to learn all the nuisances of the offense/opposing defenses.

Getting an improved Offensive Line is the key..........da Phinz must have a better OL to allow it's play makers to make plays :-)

I could definitely see that. Something to change the pace a bit, keep defenses on their toes. We need better line play and a more consistent running attack though.

League leading clutch quarterback!!!! Way to go RT.

That's a nice statistic to have, but going forward I hope he leads the league in V formations.

This is the one area I think is necessary for a franchise guy, come back scoring drives. Frankly, I didn't know if he would be "that guy" but he is, thankfully.

Beautiful pass to thigpen at the end of the game. I haven't seen that done better. This kid can make ALL of the throws. Like I said from the beginning, Tannehill has moxy. We may not win the Superbowl this year, but we are in the right direction. Next five years, I see it happening. Finfans, the drought is over.

I read this and at first thought of "Flying V" from the Mighty Ducks, and got confused.

Pretty sure that is the end game with our offensive philosophy, but we have not fully unleashed it because rt is young and still growing and gaining experience, plus our oline isn't strong enough to run hurry up more regularly. But I think you see it becoming more of a staple, especially in the playoffs!!!

He has been getting better and better. I'm still hoping his deep ball gets better but with no oline or running game what he's done is pretty amazing.

Ozzy rules!!
