You atleast look at both sides of a coin. But truth be told, it really doesn't matter how anybody looks against who, people will find a reason to criticize Henne

yeah im not a henne lover at all, but one thing i can say is i want him to succeed because i know the qb position is what we need the most from to get over the hump. do i think henne has it in him? nope. I say this because i havent seen anything new from him n the light just doesnt turn on out of nowhere. Henne shows flashes but the mistakes kill all positives to me.

Exactly, theres no progress with henne.. many will say give him time..how much time? do you really need 5 years from a second round qb to make a proper judgement on whether this guy is the future or not? while teams are hitting the nail on the head in their first and second years.

Henne didn't have a good game last week so all we can do is wait for game 2 and base our opinion on what we have seen from him thus far in his career.

We'll know soon enough. Yes it's an exibition game but Henne should treat it like the super bowl. A terrible performance in front of Ross and the home crowd (after last season) and I'll bet they make a move. What that is (Palmer , Orton , other) who knows.

Not really. I still think the guy will be a good QB in the NFL. He has all the skills necessary to do so. As for this week, It certainly SOUNDS like he had a rough go of it. Id like to watch the game and see for myself how bad it was.

I know it wont be good. You cant spin a pick 6 and 9-14 into a great performance.

Although, it sounds just like a normal Henne stat line and his worshipers spin that **** into a good game all the time. They would blame the INT on Henning, receiver routes, the OL, wind, or a combination of them all. Then they would say he was 9-14 which is a high completion percentage and actually much higher than Mark Sanchez and since ESPN says Sanchez is so good, they are just haters and Henne is actually good since ESPN thinks Sanchez is even though the Henne homers think Sanchez is a bum.

So.....yea. Im nowhere near off the idea that Mallett will be a good QB in the NFL and is better than Henne right now and it makes no sense that we didnt draft him.

Way too early to tell anything about Mallett's future....and not a good idea to judge much of anything in these type games. Start talking and making your predictions and evaluations after week 1 at least on some of these other guys too. Take a deep breath and just relax.

And what happens if he hits 7 of 10 the receivers get just as much YAC? What if Fasano doesn't screw up "another catchable ball" - what happens? I'll tell ya what happens " people like you will say show me something when the game is on the line... And that is how it should be - and that is the same gauge for any of these players rooks and vets - preseason is just a time to get the kinks out of the system and create chemistry with coaches coordinators and players...

Mallet is still young and isn't ready....

look bro he is a rookie and he WILL BE a very good QB when he settles down and gets up to speed with the NFL. hell what did you expect Danny Marino ? there was very few QBs in the NFL that came in and done what Dan did but Mallet is learning quick ,not saying i dont like pouncey BUT we had a chance in the 3rd round >? thats our Mistake imo.

And yet if you actually WATCHED the games youd know they are entirely different beasts. Henne's INTs bounced off Fasano's ****ing chest and a wrong route by Bess (I believe it was Bess) while Ryan Mallet's was a clear overthrow on a touch pass. Not even the same league.

imo ALL PLAYERS (even rooks) suspose to treat all games as if its the real season, and if they screw up, Nows the time to make changes to what there doing, and to fix there mistakes not to take the Mistakes into regular season, rooks more than others are not looked down on as hard as 2+ YEAR Starters, Nows the time to learn and let it rip clean up your mistakes,and try to get in syinc with your WRs, RBs, TEs, exc. imo preseason IS very important and it gets them ready for the regular season.
