Saban and BB

and law didnt play since gm 6 last year we won t miss him at all, secondary is loaded, we may even have to cut some good ones like gay so u guys may scoop in and get him ........

saban is similar to BB but saban is coming in from college after being an asst to bill in cleveland 10+ years ago. will be interesting to see how saban does in the nfl, there maybe a learning curve but he will do well....


and we thank him for his great input telling bill about gay, marquise hill and others. now that kind of advice is going to come from weis at ND and from his buddy at fresno ......

Im sure Saban still has his buddies @ LSU and since the SEc is the best and most talented conference any kinda scouting report or advantage we can get there trumps any contact BB can have outside of that conference. Saban still holds the Ace :tongue:

On a technical level Belicheck likes to scheme more for offense's two examples to show his "genius" if you will....In NE first SB win against St. Louis Belicheck decoded the Rams formations instructing his defense to play the run when M.Faulk was aligned behind the QB & to play pass 1st when Faulk was in any other spot then the home position(behind the QB) he also had his DE & LB bump Faulk as he released out of the backfield in an attempt to break the timing of the Rams passing game.

In NE's SB win against philly the Pats played with 5LB's on the field at all times using a gimmick defense called the "Cali" the plan was simple get your best pass rushers on the field and attack the QB while doing this NE used multiple defensive fronts giving the eagles 4-3/3-4 looks.

Nick Saban while most agree he also a "genius" his genius comes in a different form his strenghts are in disguising a defense & pressuring the QB physically and mentally.
Saban defense's will show blitz early in a game often setting the QB up for later in the game where Saban's defense will again show blitz in the same down & distance, the offense expecting a blitz will fooled into making a throw where the think the hot route is and often a defender will be in that spot to make the int. saban again believes in pressuring the QB (mentaly & physically)

those are some difference in the two Genius coaches..the major difference at this point is Belicheck has 3SB rings and Saban has 0.
