Hey guys,

Did any of you notice:

On the first key play of the game Ronnie Brown Got stripped and fumbled the ball. It was completely obvious in the replays they showed. I think these are the same replays the show on the field and to the coaches in the booth. I don't know why but Saban decided to challenge that play, and he lost it.

Later in the game Chris Chambers extended for a pass out of bounds and it seemed as if he was dragging his foot along. Chambers implored Saban to throw the flag, but as McMichael, and Chambers watch Saban doubled clutch his throw before deciding not to throw the flag. McMichael and Chambers were pissed off and they showed their disgust on the side line.

Chris Chambers was probably the most upset, he gets very little chances to make a play.

He did not get both feet inbounds.

He always seems to be unsure when it comes to challenging play but Chambers didn't get his feet in bounds on that play.

Yes he did. And it was very obvious. His right foot was in and he dragged his left foot. I was extremely pissed at Saban for not throwing that flag. I think it could of been crucial and kept our drive alive.

No, he didnt get both feet down...He got his right foot down and then dragged his upper left thigh out of bounds before his left toes hit the ground inbounds...The call on the field would have stayed the same...It was incomplete

I'm not a 100% sure either way on the Chambers play, but if you had to throw the flag on one of the plays which one would you have challenged?

Neither, the replays showed on both that they were blantantly a fumble and incomplete pass

:sidelol: okay..... that was an 'exculsive or' question, one or the other, not both, and not neither.

All I'm saying is,

a) the fumble play was obvious, and
b) the second play seemed to be a lot closer, based on player reaction.

They dont overturn calls based on "Player Reaction". His thigh hit out of bounds before his left foot did. It was a definate incomplete pass

I know, but the arguement was not if a the play would have been overturned it was why Saban would throw a flag in one, and not the other.

I thought that chambers had one knee down on that catch. What is the rule on that? Does it still have to be 2 feet in?

it was incomplete. But to answer your question, chambers nice catch out of bounds would of been the one to challenge. The fumble was really obvious and not worth a challenge.

The rule is that the reciever has to have both feet inbounds and must maintain control of the ball throughout the catch. Only in college is it one foot

?????????????????????

HE DID GET HIS FEET DOWN, BUT MAYBE THE BALL HIT OUT OF BOUNDS BEFORE THE FEET HIT INBOUNDS...SINCE HE WAS FALLING FORWARD.....IMO
