I was watching the combine footage from today when I saw that Saban actually was there and did an interview. Its pretty good. I got the link off NFL.com. Here it is:

Its 2 hour coverage of the whole combine but they have Saban come in exactly at 32 minutes and 24 seceonds. He is asked some questions about our quaterback situation and ricky williams. Def a good listen. The whole video is good actually. Seriously considering NFL network now.
 
Yeah, I def dont have here in college.

What you guys think about video? Rly like what Saban said about the quaterback situation. He said Gus ferotte was here now but we are willing to go out and look for better such as Brees.

After watching that video ... would any of you take a chance on Marcus Vick? He seems like he really wants to have some good mentors around him to help him grow as a player and as a person. His interview is about at the 1 hour 20 minutes mark ... give or take a few minutes. I wouldn't mind taking him as a project QB in the later rounds.

Def wouldnt mind. I have bene in love with him sicne the day I saw him play. His trouble with the law and disobedience does worry me tho.
 
marcus vick is a lowlife and shouldn't even be lucky enough to even be mentioned as an nfl prospect....but business is business i guess and I'm sure there will be some team that will give him a try....

but he's a loser...and it would sadden me if he was on our team...just like it saddens me that we apparantly attract all the wife abusers to our team...what's up with that...
 
I'd draft Vick in day one. He fills a need, has all the physical tools, and started at a big school. If we draft a back up linebacker or 4th reciever in the third round, it just seems like a worse gamble.
 
Speaking of Saban I saw him and Mike Mularky at the mall here in Indy. He was eating in the food court. The Circle Center Mall connects to the RCA Dome so the coach's and stuff just walk right over and eat there. I didn't want to go and say anything to him while he was eating cause I would hate if people did that to me. Pretty cool though, I was excited.

Which day dude? I saw his scout staff in Hooters Friday. Sabes wasn't with them though. I didn't recognize any of them.

Don't know if you guys know Boomer or ckparrothead, but they ar 2 of the most respected posters on the board. Not saying they are always right or their opinion is gold, but they are extremly knowledgable. Might want to check out thei thread on draft picks.
