DAVIE -- Dolphins cornerback Travis Daniels, who missed all four exhibition games and the season opener with a sprained right ankle, also may miss Sunday's home opener against Buffalo.
"He's better, but I can't tell you whether he can play this week or not," Dolphins coach Nick Saban said Wednesday. "He's still questionable. It's day-to-day. He is doing enough stuff out there, even though he's not full speed, that he is making progress.
"It's been very frustrating," Saban said. "He's been out a lot longer than we [originally] thought. But it's through no fault of his because has absolutely done everything that a player could do to get back. I think he was here seven hours [Tuesday] rehabbing, working and doing what he can do. He's had a great attitude about trying to get back, he just can't quite shake it right now."
