That was a spielman free agent aquisition. So people should temper their towards saban and mcdougle.

Yup, once Saban was here he has final say on everything, personell included.
 
... and so what... whoever labels McDougle a bust is stupid. we've got nothing but a one year contract invested in him. it's a win/win situation for us... if he doesnt start then we have an experienced backup.
 
WRONG. Saban had final say on everything. If he didn't want Stockar on this team , he would have said no. Good try though.
 
haha who cares... jesus, every GM or coach with control brings in guys that might not pan out, you cant predict the future, and sometimes that players potential just doesn't get filled... and besides stockar had 1 rough game in the preseason, dont throw him in the trash yet...
 
so because hes not an all star hes not worth picking up. come on.
 
It's preseason guys. These games are no more than glorified scrimiges. Saban knows who has talent and who doesn't. McDougle is a good bet to make team strictly on history. He's a talented guy.
 
the only reason mcdougle isn;t starting right now is because we have a coach whos demanding perfection. thats no problem to me.
