This is from PFT, a snipet that was actually about the Bills' Staff getting the axe.

"In that same vein, and in the same division, the same source who told us about the coming purge in Buffalo now says that there are rumors that Dolphins coach Nick Saban will be dumping some members of his defensive staff, too."

I heard Mel Phillips might retire, I wonder who else might not be sticking around.

I can't see it unless a very good defensive coordinator is let go.

Don Capers can run our D???

He is out there...looking for work???

Yep Dom Capers. I brought this up several days ago. He is avaiable and runs the 3-4 great. I know Saban doesn't primarily run the 3-4, but Capers is one helluva d-coordinator regardless of what he is running.

Going out on a limb here, but it will be fun to see how close I am (or not) in a few weeks...here is my prediction:

DHC - Will Muschamp
DC - Dean Pees
DL - Rod Marinelli
LB - Kevin Steele
DB - Mike Tomlin

I highly doubt that DL coach Dan Quinn is going anywhere. He has done a great job with the DL and just about everyone of our DL has atleast a sack. I forgot all about Dean Pees working with Saban before and I would like to bring him in as DC.

Ya, I believe Pees contract is up with the Patriots after this year and Saban tried to get him last year.

It wouldn't matter if Pee Wee Herman was our DC. Nick Saban calls the shots in that department.
