Nick seems to be willing to live or die with Joey much like Wanny did with Jay. It makes me sick to think that Cleo Lemon can't get a shot these last two games. I actually think it would be funny if Cleo went somewhere else and became a darn good starting QB.

you forgot dc over brees. this one will make or break him. unless we get something in the draft.

I'd like to know why Nick has such a penchant for not playing the young guys.
How can they get better being inactive and standing around watching others play? And we better keep Cleo. He may not be the next Marino, but did you see the differences in the pass's of his and Joey? JH shouldn't even be on the field!

One thing that really worries me is that we now have our third straight head coach who was a former defensive coach. We all know how bad we were under Jimmy and Dave.

harrington is our back up, playing for our injured starter. how is that the same as fiedler and wanny?

Jimmy flat out admitted his aversion to passing the football, and the significant risks involved with relinquishing, if even momentarily, absolute control of it.
Clearly DW, d It sure did'nt take long to realize that DW subscribed to the same philosophy, with an added touch of paranoia.
Saban otoh, has long stated his interest in the team to attack the entire field, and even restated that interest, in yestedays press conference .

I don't think so. Saban knows Harrington is just a stop gap, I don't think he's as stuburn as Wanny. If this was the 3rd year with Jeoy I wold agree with that, but it's just out of necessity rightnow. I think Saban will do the responsible thing for this franchise and draft a QB in next year's draft. Maybe not in the 1st round, but for sure in this draft.

People here are insane. JH was the QB when we won 21-0 over the Patriots. You don't sit your QB after a win like that. Against the Bills Cleo got on the field. Start the younger guys? Cleo is the same damn age as JH and DC.

yeah exactly and what is the use of starting cleo lemon??? what does it achieve.
Well we certainly don't need to see what Joey can do, we already know what he can't do; lead this team. But this is the perfect time to let Lemon show us whether he is the real deal or not, so we know what we've got in Lemon. If we don't think Lemon is the future possibly, then why keep him? Play the kid, see what he's got, why not?

Wanny stuck by that dead duck for what, five years? JH is a backup that'll be starting for 12 games....I don't see the similarity.

What you fail to understand is that Joey Harrington is assuring himself a seat on OUR bench next year. No team will give him a chance to start next year. I see a friendly contract with the Dolphins near future. I think Joey would be one of the better backups in the league. Don't you?

I could care less about giving someone a shot. Daunte Culpepper is the Dolphins quarterback. Why give Lemon a shot? Why not put the best player on the field to try to win the game. We know where the future is vested. Thank the heavens it ain't vested by Cleo Lemon.........

It annoys me that I still hear about that. It has been clearly stated that Brees' shoulder was much worse than anybody originally thought.

That's what I was thinking. Also Wanny was at least winning with Jay and as much as it sucks Fiedler was the best QB on our roster for those years. I'm willing to bet all of the tea in China that Saban goes away from harrington next year unless forced otherwise.
