Saban Has Given Up

Why not go for it on 4th down? So your pathetic defense doesnt get scored on again?

That was a Wanny move.

Saban is Wanny without the stache.

Every move he has made is basically a Wanny move.

Playing like Miami is trying to win something this year. Not addressing the QB spot in the draft instead of going for more D (Even though Miami needed D)

Are you watching the same game as the rest of us. The offense is a joke with the QB's we have. That is why you do not go for 4th and 17. They cannot move the ball. It is not Sabans fault that our QB throws the ball to the opposition or uncatchable passes. Saban is fine and will address the QB problem in the draft.

not really...it just showed you he knew gus was the best choice and thats why he never really wanted to start sage..maybe we should actually listen to what he says b/c he knows more than us

i also love when i hear how it's not the coach's fault, blah, blah, blah.... yes, ultimately the players are the one's who have to make the plays. but in addition to that fact, the buck stops here and the coach has to take some responsibility. you're right about the quarterback problem not being his fault. you have to contend with what you've got. what i can't comprehend is why we seem to be getting worse with no improvement in sight!!

Agree, 100%!! I've read so many posts that state the only way for us to know if Sage can play is if we actually see him play in a game; totally disregarding that the coaching staff just might know what they're doing in not playing Sage. I'll admit I had some hopes that he would come in and make a pretty decent showing, but deep down I figured that their was good reason that he didn't start over Gus. I've got enough sense of persective to know that Saban and staff actually know more than I do.

Well said. Sage had his chance to shine today against a bad defensive team. And what did he do to show us, he played like crap, which is what he is. There is a reason why no one (outside of Dolphins fans) talks about this guy, EVER, and why no one thinks he's anything special. We need a QB, badly.

this is by far your most idiotic post.

Please go study, then come back.

Conspiracy Theory!!!!!

Saban is losing on purpose. He realized a few weeks ago that our team has little talent. He wants to make sure we get the opportunity to draft Leinhart.

:goof:

He's a ROOKIE HEAD COACH! Cut the guy a break! He's got no QB to work with and a weaker defense....the talent level isnt as high as its been in recent years. He gets a free pass from me this year.

yeah, people need to keep in perspective the disaster(Wanny's leftovers) Saban had to work with in year 1.

Amen. Those posts were ridiculous inferring that Sage was an "Unknown," se he should automatically get a chance. "It can't get any worse than this..." Well, we found out today that it can get worse. You would think that as Dolphin fans watching our team last year we would know that, but this should have pretty much confirmed that for everybody.

These coaches evaluate talent their whole life...they (yes, even Wanny and co.) know more than we do about their players most of the time...I'd feel more inclined to believe them that Sage won't amount to much then most fans.
