When it comes to the fate of certain players. With Howard's salary WAY higher than his ability he HAS to cut him in training camp and replace him with a slightly WORSE player at a great salary with a one year deal. It's gonna be Madison and the Rookie this year.

What other players leave SABAN with NO CHOICE?

hes not getting cut this year, it wouldnt be worth it for the team in terms of cap situation. his salary is not THAT high yet where they need to do it. thats why the article said next season

Well as Madison pointed out, Roundtree is still there, and he generally shines around TC time, but his lack of experience has hurt him in the past, and the number of cb's we had, but this might be his year or chance.

I don't know about Roundtree...He got beat by many receivers in mini-camp....We need Bobby Taylor or the Law for at least this season to be a good passing defense..Our safeties are questionnable..Some struggle in space. some just cannot stay healthy..

We could go after Sean Taylor he will be a Miami resident soon enough.

he'll be a Dade County stockade resident..he can add his name to Reese and Crowder's on the guest list...

:smackhead:

So, you want to cut our ONLY zone experienced defender when we already are short at CB and Poole is out...

Salary aside, we need Reggie Howard... at least for this year. Next year when his salary escalates is a different story. Next year, unless Reggie is the starting CB, he does not have a spot on the team. As for this year, we need him.

There are no players that give us "no choice"

If there were, they would have been cut June 1st.

How about kicker?

We already have two kickers... One that doubles as a kick returner and what's his name, he missed a couple of big 30 yarders last year... um... Olino Mare, that's it.
