Saban Impressed with HOWard

carter is the best player on the defense imo (well JT is when he's healthy). However, ive been really impressed with him
 
Yeah...I would have to echo that, although Zach is having a monstrous year too. JT has been inconsistent, and now injured. I have faith that he'll come on late in the year as he gets more use to the style of defense.
 
I didn't hear him say that. He said Howard, Carter and Holliday had the most production points this week and were "kinda" the players of the week on that side of the ball.

He also said the chemistry in the secondary was the best this year in terms of communicating and executing.
 
I know I'm bound to be disappointed, but I wish he'd just belt out with something about how next week we're going to start Sage Rosenfels and see what he has to offer. We can no longer afford to leave points on the field with Gus' inaccurate passes, IMO. He has to be a different QB than he's been for the past 6 games if he wants to be effective as our starting QB. What are the chances that this 6 game stretch was "just a fluke"?
 
Good, glad to see we'll get some much needed help. God knows the rest of the team has to play lights out to make up for all of the incomplete passes falling into the dirt despite open receivers.
 
He was very pleased with Gus and thought he performed better than he did the past few weeks. No Sage this week.

Inother words we dont think that Sage is ready. Or maby ever will be.
