His answers are politically correct, he doesn't call out people for poor performance, and gives these psycho babble sermons on taking positive things away from the game, and the team's performance looks worse and worse every week. And these losses are against the bottom feeders of the NFL.

I have never been a Saban basher, but I'm beginning to not like this guy so much. I can deal with the losses, but I want some d__mn leadership and that means NO dancing around topics with politically correct answers to everything. So far, this team has way underperformed, and I don't see ANY improvement from week to week, yet that's all I hear from him at every press conference; the same d__mn thing.

Something is wrong, either in the locker room or from a broader perspective, such as the players not buying into his "system." Things need to get better from a performance aspect very soon or this guy will lose the entire team if he hasn't already.

Erasing all the progress.

So many players and coaches that were "buying into the system" last year were gone this year. What did we expect?

Saban and the press hate each other. He's not going to put on a show for the cameras--and by extension, for you--just for the sake of looking tough. It's better that he take the blame in public and make heads roll in private.

I know that I wouldn't play for a guy that was bad mouthing me though the media because I had a bad game. If Saban has a problem with the player he takes it out with them, not the media. How can you criticize a guy for not being another TO?? We should be thankful that we have a coach that is going to stand up for the players that he believes in no matter who talks bad about them. He doesn't care if the fans dont like it or the media doesn't like it he stands up for his players. If I were in the NFL there is no other guy that I would rather play for, than somebody that stands up for me even after I just screwed the pooch.

If he really wanted to protect his players, he'd have the names and numbers taken off the Jersey's. Because unless your blind, we can see they stink !!!!!!!!!!

Oh yes, coaches like Belichek and Parcells always tell all about the inner workings of their team and their complete plan. Any coach that divulges private info to the media and/or the fans is an idiot. People need to chill. It has been 1 1/2 years under Saban. Look how damn long it took the Bears to recover from Wanny. We had 5 years of awful drafts. Sorry to say, it is going to take several years to get things right again. Look how long it took Holmgren in Seattle and Vermeil in St Louis. The key is getting a solid QB and much better OL. That is Saban's task as we move forward.

I praise Saban no matter what

DOMINOZ: and there lies the problem.

wayne will NEVER get rid of his arse if he keeps seeing these
blind, cultish posts from fans.

no matter what huh? why? does "no matter what" mean that
if we are losing year after year like the cardinals you still
luv saban to death? why? what reason?

so frankly, your another guy who really isnt a dolphins fan,
but a nick saban fan, correct?

"praise" him "NO MATTER WHAT".

DESIDES: whos heads have "rolled"? cliff russell's? WOW!!!!

he hasnt done a DAMN thing, public or in private. the team is
being flushed down the toilet by the hour and nick wont even call
a plummer!!!

god, even denny green, a guy who is a PROVEN nfl coach, a guy
who has done WAY MORE than saban ever has can publicaly take
blame for his failure. he willactually do something [fire hiso/c]
instead of berate a 3rd string wr and release him.

saban is a joke, in the steve spurrier kind of way.

Plain and simple we don't know what goes on behind closed doors. If you think that Saban just lets things slide and doesn't get on players behind closed doors, that's foolish. It doesn't do anyone any good, if you rip players in the media. Besides, he can't rip the whole team and right now we have a team wide problem. So what would you like him to do? He's doing the right thing in the media; taking the blame himself. Since this is a team wide problem, it will not help calling them out in the press. That would just make the team despise Saban, not want to play harder for him.
